「我的孩子，妳要知道成聖的最大的障礙就是：灰心喪志和一種誇大了的焦慮。」「我的愛徒，對那些令妳受苦的人要給與更大的愛。對那些仇恨妳的人要良善對待…..控制情緒不一定時常在妳的能力範圍內。妳會確認到，妳能有愛心，就是即使遇到煩擾和矛盾，妳也不會失去心境的平安，但能為那些令妳受苦的人祈禱，並祝福他們。」 (1628) 「要不斷的為『我與妳同在』這個堅定的信念去奮鬥。不應由感覺來支配；因為所有的功勞都是來自意志力。」(1760) 「我的孩子，妳最能使我合意的就是願意受苦。我的女兒，不論在妳的肉身上或精神上，都不要從受造物那裡求同情。我要妳受苦的芬芳能清純及不含雜質，我要妳能割捨自己，不單只從受造物中，也要從自我中，…..妳愈是願意受苦，我的女兒，妳對我的愛就會愈純正。」 (279) 「當妳反省我在妳內心深處所告訴妳的說話，妳會比讀萬卷書更有益處。啊，但願人靈能願意聆聽我在他們內心深處所講的聲音，他們將能在短時間內達到聖善的高峰。」 (584)

From Jesus of Divine Mercy:  “My child, know that the greatest obstacles to holiness are discouragement and an exaggerated anxiety.”  “My pupil, have great love for those who cause you suffering. Do good to those who hate you … It is not always within your power to control your feelings. You will recognize that you have love if, after having experienced annoyance and contradiction, you do not lose your peace, but pray for those who have made you suffer and wish them well.” (1628)  “Always fight with the deep conviction that I am with you. Do not be guided by feeling, because it is not always under your control; but all merits lies in the will.” (1760)  “My child, you please Me most by suffering. In your physical as well as your mental sufferings, My daughter, do not seek sympathy from creatures. I want the fragrance of your suffering to be pure and unadulterated. I want you to detach yourself, not only from creatures, but also from yourself … The more you will come to love suffering, My daughter, the purer your love for Me will be.” (279)  “When you reflect upon what I tell you in the depths of your heart, you profit more than if you had read many books. Oh, if souls would only want to listen to My voice when I am speaking in the depths of their hearts, they would reach the peak of holiness in a short time.” (584)
